Hello, World | Five at the Back

With the World Cup right around the corner and being in the midst of one of the most polarizing times for the USMNT in recent memory, I thought it would be a great time to start this little project I have had on my mind for quite some time.

What is it?

So my plan for this project starts off as an editorial site around the USMNT and the World Cup. I will post thought pieces and analysis (from my very naive fan brain) as often as my time permits me to. During the World Cup I will at least have USMNT game reaction posts.

I will also build fun little tools and stat views for various aspects of the world’s game. I am an engineer, so anytime I get an excuse to build something cool, I will. You can checkout the World Cup page to see a couple things I have put together there. I value simplicity and straightforward information, without being bogged down by ads and paywalls (for now 😏). Right now things are very simple, and I will continue to add more features as I continue to grow this site.

What is in the future?

To be honest, I don’t know yet what the future holds. I have lots of ideas that I will be playing with and sharing, some of them around the USMNT and some of them just general world football things. In the meantime my focus will be on the present USMNT and it’s happenings.

I am excited to get started on this journey and look forward to many hot takes, bad analysis, and building an awesome community!
